The Machine pistol model of 1940 was first seen in combat in 1940 on the Western Front. It was initially issued 3 per squad, but soon more were available, and so their presence in the squad grew. It was very effective in close range fighting, and was simply made. The end of the war produced more than 908,317. It fired the 9mm Parabellum from a 32 round detachable box magazine, weighed around 7 pounds, and could fire up to 500 rounds a minute. It is commonly called the " Schmeisser ", which is incorrect. Hugo Schmeisser created Axis weapons, but not this one; Hugo Vollmer created this.

German paratroopers used the MP44 Assault Rifle for the duration of the World War 2. It has a muzzle velocity of 647 m/s and is sighted to 700m. It was developed in 1944 and influenced the development of the AK47. It has a cyclic rate of 500 rounds per minute. It has a weight of 4.3 kg.

The German Model 98k Mauser was adopted by Germany as the primary battle rifle in 1935. The 98k were based upon the Mauser turn-bolt action developed by Paul Mauser in 1898. It fired the 7.92x57, commonly called the 8mm. It was fed by a 5 round stripper clip, and had a detachable bayonet. Its rate of fire was 10 to 15 rounds per minute and weighed around 9 pounds.

The FG42 is a great multi-purpose weapon. It's one of the deadliest fully automatic weapons available and the single-fire mode is effective at all ranges. A 4x zoom scope is standard issue.

Named the Luger after its designer, this was the German service pistol from before WWI until 1938, and many were used during WWII. The Luger was manufactured in two calibers - the 9mm Parabellum model 1908, and the 7.65mm. It served as a sidearm to many Officers of the Wehrmacht, as well as many machine gun crews.

The Panzerfaust (German for "Armored Fist") is an anti-tank weapon, launching a small charge designed to penetrate an armored tank vehicle. Due to the amour-piercing nature of the charge, it's not an effective anti-personnel device. Each Panzerfaust is only a single shot weapon, but one shot is often enough to reduce even the largest tanks to smoldering ruins within seconds.

The Stick Grenade or “Potato Masher” was based on a World War I design and used during the war on all fronts by the German Wermacht. The weapon itself consisted of a hollow wooden staff with a pull out string, fuse and detonator and a canister of sheet steel full of a powdered charge. It had a delay of 4 to 5 seconds before detonation and had an explosive range of up to 30 yards. It had a weight of 1.4 pounds.
